lays flat, allowing material handling and pedestrian traffic

EM Field Meter

The NBM-520, a lightweight hand-held meter for broad-

band measurement of electromagnetic (EM) energy.

Typical applications include measurement

of fields generated by equipment designed

to heat, cure, dry or form manufactured

products. Features of the NBM-520, include

small size, remote data acquisition, and

comprehensive software. The NBM-520

works in conjunction with calibrated probes

(antennas) that are available to cover fre-

quencies as great as 100 kHz to 60 GHz. The

NBM-520 with no backlighting will operate

for 22 h on a charge of its replaceable NiMH

rechargeable batteries and 16 h with it’s

material testing laboratory from other departments on an

industrial campus to to safety. The research and testing
