Gas-Detection
Team
This gas-
detection
team that
couples an
SEC 3000
sensor with
an SEC
3100 trans-
mitter incor-
porates a plug-in memory
stick which logs a permanent
data record. Color-coded
actual gas levels are dis-
played in PPM or per cent
LEL. Sensors can be coupled
directly to transmitters, or be
up to 1000 feet apart. Sensor

Gas Vapor Probe
The AMS Retract-A-Tip is
designed to be driven into the
soil, opened for sample extrac-
tion and then removed for sub-
squent use. It is a survey tool
that used
to collect
discrete
soil vapor-
samples
below the
ground
surface,
usually at
discrete
depths. When open, the
sampling ports -- protected by
mesh screen -- are exposed. A
vacuum applied at the surface
to the fluoroploymer tube will
allow recovery of soil gas or
groundwater samples. After
sample collection, the sampler
may be closed, and may then
be driven to next discrete sam-
pling point to collect another
sample. -- AMS Inc.,
