RAE Systems Inc., announced that the State of California has
signed on to the New York State Hazardous Incident Response
Equipment (HIRE) purchasing contract. (California State
Contract PC 61968). California now joins Alaska, Arkansas,
Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Oregon,
Oklahoma and Virginia as participants in the New York
Contract. Adoption of this contract permits all participating
State, County and Municipal entities to procure RAE Systems
instruments and equipment without a formalized bid process.
