Noise... Control it.
Eckoustic® Panel Systems
efficiently & economically improve
the acoustic environment of industrial facilities.
ECKOUSTIC FUNCTIONAL PANELS (EFPs) – an effective,
practical method for reducing background noise and reverberation.
The high acoustic performance, durable EFP wall and ceiling
panel systems are Ideal for adding needed sound absorption to
wastewater/water treatment plants, manufacturing facilities, and
other industrial operations, as well as administration areas. No
need to relocate existing utilities. Easy to install and maintain.

ed steel mounting rails were attached directly to the underside of the corrugated roof deck ceiling. The wall mounting brackets were 11 ga stainless steel, 8” long, so that the panels have a 6” offset.
A variety of panel sizes were used. The ceiling panels were 30” x 120” and 30” x 96”. For the upper section of the walls, 30” x 120” and 30” x 96” panels were utilized; for the lower section, 30” x 96” panels were used, and for the middle section of the southwest wall, 30” x 120” panels were employed. A few special sizes also were used where required.
After panel installation, noise levels and reverberation time tests were conducted, and these showed that a dra- matic improvement in acoustic environment was obtained. The average noise levels were reduced to 88-90 dBA and the reverberation time was measured at less than one second (i.e., an average of .83 sec at 500 Hz and .92 sec at 1000 Hz). In other words, a noise ener- gy reduction of from 35% to 42% has been achieved.
According to Greg Hempelman, Engineer, Denver Water, “We are very pleased with the acoustic treatment provided by these panels. They have allowed us to quickly achieve a more comfortable, safer work environment for our employees at a reasonable cost. In addition to making the facility acoustically pleasing, the Eckoustic Functional Panels which were color- matched to the colors of the walls and ceilings are not visually intrusive.”

VeriPRO makes it easy to get an accurate, real-world picture of your employees’ hearing protection effectiveness, capturing the individual Personal Attenuation Rating (PAR) of any earplug. Through its one-on-one training, VeriPRO demonstrates the importance of proper use of hearing protection and provides the opportunity to select the appropriate earplug for each person — and becomes an integral part of a Hearing Conservation Program that stops noise-induced hearing loss.
