Self Contained Breathing Apparatus
The NIOSH approved North Frontier™ Series is designed specifically for use in non-fire emergency situations, industrial safety, egress from a contaminated area, or for clean up of chemical/toxic spills and
accidents. A self-contained, open circuit, compressed-air breathing apparatus (SCBA), it consists of a
harness assembly with first stage reducer, pressure gauge and whistle, a cylinder, demand valve and a
tight fitting face piece. During use a positive pressure is maintained within the face piece.

Fire and Electric Arc Protection
DuPont™ Nomex® CXP® fabric by Milliken is an inherently flame resistant material that
helps protect against both fire and electric arc flash threats. The fabric combines Nomex®
flame resistant fabric with CXP®, a fabric known for being lightweight, breathable, soft
and able to wick moisture. Nomex® CXP® is NFPA 70E HRC 2-compliant.

Extrication Glove
The Caiman® 1985 uses abrasion and cut resistant materials reinforced with Kevlar®. These have been
placed on the padded palm as well as the back of each finger and on the thumb saddle area to
maximize hand protection and wear. The back of the knuckle area is fortified with heavy dense foam
for protection from impact and abrasion, along with a strip of reflective tape for added visibility. The
closed elastic cuff adds protection against sharp objects and debris entering the glove.
